2015 BALP/UPHS HALLOWEEN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP Oct. 24 - Nov. 01, 2015 Astrobowl-B 4th Level Starmall Metroplis, Alabang Muntinlupa City, Philippines.
RULES & REGULATONS :
1. Organization & Sanction
This 2015 BALP/UPHS Halloween Open Championship Is organized by the Bowling Association of Las Pinas (BALP) and sanctioned by the Philippine Bowling Congress (PBC) and is included in the NBT Circuit Annual Tournament.
2. Eligibilty :
Bowlers in good standing are eligible to play in this Open. Averages : Bowlers are classified according to their latest PBC/NBT listing of averages. Bowlers without PBC average shall submit an average certified by their respective Association/Club. Bowlers without average shall be classified as Class O bowlers with an average of 196 for men and 186 for women. The Tournament Committee has the right to check and assess the average submitted. Classification : There are three (3) groups in with handicap namely :
OPEN MASTERS - (Mixed)
CLASSIFIED MASTERS – Male – average of 180 and below.
LADIES MASTERS - average of 187 and below.
Classified Bowlers/Ladies Masters may join the Open mixed Masters provided that they already completed their qualifying event.
2.1 Team Events : (manner of grouping)
OPEN mixed MASTERS : Team with at least one (1) Open Master’s bowler. CASSIFIED MASTERS : All solely classified bowlers
LADIES MASTERS : All solely ladies Bowlers
3. Handicap : For the duration of the tournament, the following handicap shall apply :

No te : All current RP Team members and RP National Pool regardless of their average, handicap shall as follows : Men – 0 Ladies - 8
4. Tournament Format :
6.1 Qualifying for Master’s finals :
6.1A 2-sets singles totaling six games.
6.2 Team Event Category :
Consist of two (2) games plus handicap.
6.3 MASTERS FINALS :
OPEN MASTERS (mixed) : SEEDED + Top 35 Finalist , will play ten (10) games plus handicap. POSITIONING on the last game.
CLASSIFIED MASTERS : Top 36 Finalist, will play ten (10) games plus handicap. POSITIONING on the last game.
LADIES MASTERS : Top 24 Finalist, will play eight ( games plus handicap. POSITIONING on the last game.
5. Tie Break : (Qualifying)
To break the tie in qualifying and team event the shall used:
TEAM Step 1. Lesser handicap shall prevail QUALIFYING Step 2. Least difference between the highest and lowest game (including hdcp).
MASTERS FINALS - There will be a sudden death roll-off : one (1) ball throw each alternately until the tie is broken. (higher pinfall wins)
6. Uniform :
Proper dress code shall be observed throughout the tournament . Bowlers are required to wear their respective uniform from their affiliates/club or sponsors. No wearing of short for male bowlers. The tournament committee shall not allow a participant who’s wearing an improper bowling attire.
7. Check-in time :
All participants must check-in at the tournament secretariart at least fifteen minutes before their scheduled squad time. The Bowling Center time shall be the official time of the tournament.
8. Bowling balls :
Bowling ball used in the tournament must comply with the legal rules. Makers of any kind except inherent marks on the ball itself, are not allowed. The tournament committee reserves the right to examine the ball used by the participant. Use of illegal balls is a ground for disqualification of a participant from the tournament and subsequently shall be stripped of all his/her winnings.
9. Score sheet :
Official score sheets must be signed by the bowlers after each game to acknowledge his/her score. If the bowler fails to sign his/her score sheet, it is presumed correct and no protest on such basis will be entertained. Any player who deliberately tampers his/her score shall be disqualified immediately from the tournament.
10. Missing Pin and Down Pin :
A frame bowled with a missing pin (s) shall be treated as good ball. A frame with a fallen or down pin (s) must be reset. All bowlers are entrusted to monitor and abide by this rule. Bowlers are not allowed to reset the pins only the tournament officials and official scorer.
11. Lane Breakdown :
The tournament director or his duly appointed officer of the day may authorize the transfer of the lanes due to equipment failures. An interrupted game or series must resume from the point (frame) of interruption.
12. Foul Lines :
Bowlers must at all times observe the foul line. If the automatic foul line device becomes inactive, the tournament committee shall assign marshals to act as foul line judges.
13. Oiling Pattern :
Designed oil pattern at the start of the tournament shall be used throughout the whole tournament.
14. Slow Bowling :
Players whose turn is up should not delay to observance of lane courtesy must be maintained at all times.
15. Protest :
Official protest must be done in writing and be addressed to the tournament committee not later than 24 hours after the game in which the infraction was committed. Otherwise, such as protest shall not be entertained. The tournament committee shall decide on the appeal upon review of the protest.
16. Interpretation of Rules and Regulations :
The Tournament committee shall be the sole interpreter of the rules and regulations of this Open Tournament. Its decision shall be deemed final.
17. Schedule of Activities :
October 24 Saturday – Opening Ceremony at 12:00 noon, Qualifying for the succeeding days Lane dressing - 12:00 noon 1st Squad starts at 1:00 pm. up to 10:00 pm. last squad.
October 31, 2015 Saturday LADIES MASTERS finals :
Registration : 8:00 am.
Call on Reserves : 8:45 am.
Roll-off : 9:00 am.
October 31, 2015 Saturday CLASSIFIED MASTERS Finals :
Registration : 1:00 pm.
Call on Reserves : 1:45 pm.
Roll-Off : 2:00 pm.
After Classified finals qualifying onwards Open Masters (mixed)/Desperado.
November 01, 2015 Sunday OPEN MASTERS (mixed) finals :
Registration : 8:00 am.
Call on Reserves : 8:45 am.
Roll-off : 9:00 am.

Team Re-try 1,200.00 (inclusive of two (2) games per bowler)
Up-Grading Division 1,500.00 (inclusive of two (2) blocks, 3 games/block)
Master’s Finals : OPEN MASTERS : Php 3,000.00 (10 games)
CLASSIFIED MASTERS : Php 3,000.00 (10 games)
LADIES MASTERS : Php 2,500.00 ( 8 games)
Note :
• All participants must be fully paid of their games and settle their Previous Account Receivables from BALP) including the FINALS FEE in order to play in the Master’s Finals.
