On behalf of the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (DATBA), I am extending this official invitation to you and your Association/Club to join us as we host the 10th DATBA Kadayawan NBT Open on August 05-09,2015 at the B3 Entertainment Centrum, NCCC Mall, Maa, Davao City.
Our aim is to establish good camaraderie among fellow bowlers from different bowling associations and clubs affiliated with the Philippine Bowling Congress.

This Tournament is sanctioned by the Philippine Bowling Congress
All duly registered members of the Philippine bowling Congress may participate in this tournament.
The average of the participants shall be based on the following order of priority:
4.1 The latest available list of PBC averages
4.2 Association average duly certified by its President/Tournament Director
4.3 Club average duly certified by its President/Tournament Director
4.4 Any Bowler who has become champion in any PBC Sanctioned Open
Tournament from August 07, 2014 - August 08, 2015 shall automatically be upgraded from his/her existing classification to the next higher classification for purpose of assigning his/her handicap in the 10th DATBA KADAYAWAN NBT OPEN.
4.5 The tournament committee reserves the right to upgrade or downgrade a bowler’s average.

• Senior bowlers aged 60 up shall be given a plus 5 handicap. Proof of age should be shown upon registration
• All members of the RP team, training pool, shall have a 0 hdcp for men and 4 for women.
All players are required to wear a proper bowling uniform during the game.
The following rules shall apply:
A bowler’s first attempt in singles (first 2 sets), and team events (including handicap) shall count towards his/her All Events score (8 games total). Top three (3) bowlers shall be declared as champion, first runner-up and second runner-up respectively. To qualify for any award and to compete in the Masters Final, a bowler must complete his/her All Events. Failure to do so shall disqualify his/her all events score.
Consist of a two (2) game series (including handicap) played by three (3) bowlers (any combination of men and female bowler may compose a team). Any registered bowler can form a team and may play as many sets as they want, provided that only their best attempt shall count.
Re-entry Fee is Php 900.00/team.
Consists of three (3) games plus handicap. The bowler’s score in his/her first and second singles/qualifying shall be considered in the all events. Any registered bowler can play as many sets as he/she wants to try for their best qualifying games for the Masters Finals. Re-entry fee per singles qualifying is Php 400.00.
For singles and team events, total pin falls plus handicap shall determine the winners. Highest three (3) scores in each division shall be declared as champion, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up. A team with the same line-up can play unlimited number of attempts, but only the highest score will be considered.
Open Masters Event. Bowlers need to bowl 2 sets of 3 games for the singles event and 1 set of 2 games for the team event (or a total of 8games) to qualify for the masters. Top 35 and the defending champion shall qualify for the masters event and they will play eight ( games. There will be lane movement after 2 games (bowlers will move 6 lanes). Top eight ( bowlers after the eight games shall advance to the next round (shoot-out format). The bowlers ranked 8th, 7th, 6th, 5th shall play a shoot-out game. The winner shall advance to the next shoot out game. The winner, together with bowlers ranked 4th, 3rd, 2nd, shall play another shoot-out game and the winner will challenge the 1st ranked bowler in the championship game. The 1st ranked bowler shall have the twice to beat advantage over the challenger. The Winner in this match shall be declared the MASTERS CHAMPION of the 10th DATBA KADAYAWAN NBT OPEN. Winners shall be declared based on their original rankings (after eight games) regardless of his/her score in the shoot-out match.
Registration fee is Php 2,500.00 per bowler (inclusive of 1 set for team event and 2 sets for singles event). Amount shall be paid in full before the start of the 1st game. Registration received shall be on a first-come first-served basis. There will be no refund of registration fees it has been paid and registered. Registration for the masters event shall be Php 2,000.00 (includes 1 bowling shirt per finalist)

10 CHECK-IN TIME
All participants must check-in at the tournament counter at least 30 minutes before the schedule time. The B3 bowling center clock time shall be the official time of the tournament.

Other than the players and official individual team coaches, only tournament officials
including scores and bowling center lane personnel shall be allowed to enter the

13.1 Ties in the Team event shall be in favor of the team with the least difference between the highest and lowest team score. Ties in the Singles Event shall be in favor to the bowler with the least difference between the highest and lowest score (2 highest sets). Ties in the All Events shall be in favor to the bowler with the least difference between the highest and lowest score (8 games – 2 games in team and 6 games in singles event). Further ties will be in favor to the bowler with the higher entering average. And if another tie occurs, the bowler who bowled the higher game in that particular event shall prevail.
13.2 Ties in the last place cut-off of the Masters Events shall be in favor to the bowler with the least difference between the highest and lowest score (8 games – 2 games in team and 6 games in singles event. Further ties will be in favor to the bowler with the higher entering average. And if another tie occurs, the bowler who bowled the higher game in that particular event shall prevail.
13.3 If a tie occurs for the number 1 position after 8 games, the bowlers will have to play a 9th & 10th frame roll off to break the tie. Ties in other positions after 8 games will be in favor to the bowler with the least difference between the highest and the lowest score. Further ties will be in favor to the bowler with the higher entering average. And if another tie occurs, the bowler who bowled the higher last game shall prevail.
Official score sheets must be signed by the bowlers after each game to acknowledge
his/her score. If the bowler fails to sigh his /her score sheet, it is presumed that his/her scores are correct and no protest on such basis shall be entertained. Errors in the scoring of calculation in a tournament play must be corrected by a tournament official immediately upon the discovery of such error. Questionable errors shall be made declared/decided by the tournament committee. Any player who deliberately tampers his/hers score sheet shall be disqualified immediately from further participation on in the tournament.
15 NO OPEN BOWLING
When the tournament has started, participants shall not be allowed to play bowling
regardless of lane availability in the venue of the tournament.
16 MISSING OR DOWN PIN(S)
Frame with missing pin(s), once the ball is rolled shall be treated as good ball, frame
with fallen or down pins(s) on the pin check must be rebowled. All bowlers are entrusted to monitor and abide by this rule. Bowlers are not allowed to reset the pins, only lane men, tournament official and official scorers are allowed.
17 LANE BREAKDOWN
Should a single pair of lanes be rendered unusable for more than 20 minutes before of
during the game, the tournament committee reserves the right to assign any available lanes provided by the bowling center to affected participants. An interrupted game or series must resume from the point (frame) of interruption. No bowling will be allowed.
In the event that the score of game(s) being erased and cannot be recalled or traced due to power failure or computer breakdown, the bowler concerned will required to bowl a new game. However, all scores of completed games that have been recorded on the official score sheet will remain unchanged.
During the finals, wherever a player chooses to discontinue his/her game, a pacer may
be designated by a marshal
Protest must be done in writing addressed to the tournament committee not later than
24 hours after the game in which the infraction was committed or prior awarding of prizes, whichever comes first. Otherwise such protest shall not be entertained. Each protest under this rule shall be specific in itself and this rule shall not be constructed to cover a similar or previous violation. The decision of the tournament committee is deemed final and not further appeal of protest will be accepted.
20 INTERPRETATION OF RULES AND REGULATIONS
Philippine Bowling Congress (PBC) rules shall apply. The tournament committee reserves the right to make the final interpretation in any of the rules and regulations mentioned above and to decide any matters not covered by the aforementioned rules and regulations and its decision shall be considered final.
