RULES & REGULATIONS:

1st Beer Invitational Cup

TOURNAMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS

VENUE: Playdium Bowling Center, Quezon City

DATE: 10 December 2011 (Saturday)

TIME: Registration: 2:00 pm
Shadow Bowling: 3:00 pm
Roll-off: 3:15 pm

ELIGIBILITY: This tournament is open to all bowlers who can adequately and responsibly drink beer while playing bowling.

AVERAGE: Latest average based on the PBC Listing.

UNIFORM: There is no prescribed uniform.

HANDICAPS: Handicaps shall be computed as follows:
24 – For PBC Average below 170
16 – For PBC Average 171 – 180
08 – For PBC Average 181 – 190
00 – For PBC Average 191 – Above
Additional 8 for female bowlers

FORMAT:
• Each participant shall play a total of six (6) games with corresponding handicap.
• Lane movement every game.
• Participants will be given 1 bottle of San Miguel Light Beer per Game, for a total of six (6) bottles for six (6) games.
• All participants are required to drink beer on the third (3rd) frame, sixth (6th) frame and the ninth (9th) frame. An announcement will be made to inform all bowlers when to drink.
• At the end of every game, the beer allocated to each bowler should be fully consumed. Failure to do so would merit disqualification from the tournament. Once a participant is disqualified, he/she may no longer win the prize and will not be allowed to continue playing the games.
• Once a participant feels that he/she can no longer consume the beer, he/she can declare himself/herself as disqualified or TKO.
• By the start of the next game, all participants will be given another bottle.
• Marshals will be assigned to check and distribute the bottles for each participant. These Marshals reserve the right to declare if a participant is disqualified due to failure to consume the beer for a specific game.
• Participants can choose to order additional beer during the course of the tournament. Beyond the allotted six (6) bottles, additional charges for the beer may apply.
• The top three (3) bowlers who earn the highest total pinfalls plus handicap at the end of six (6) games will be declared the winners.

REGISTRATION FEES: Php 1,500.00 to be settled upon registration. This will cover the fee for six (6) games and six (6) San Miguel Light Beer.

TIES: In case of a tie, the prize money shall be divided equally among the winners and be declared co-winners.

LANE BREAKDOWNS: The tournament directors or his appointed officer may authorize the transfer of the games to another pair of lanes due to equipment failures. An interrupted game or series must resume from the point of frame interruption, without practice bowling.

PROTEST: All protest shall be done in writing and addressed to The Tournament Committee within 24 hours. Otherwise no protest shall be entertained thereafter. The decision of The Tournament Committee shall be final.

INTERPRETATION OF THE RULES: The Tournament Committee reserves the right to make final interpretation of the rules and regulations.

PRIZES: Champion: Php 10,000.00
1st Runner-up: Php 5,000.00
2nd Runner-up: Php 3,000.00

Special prizes may be given away depending on the number of participants during the tournament.

PERFECT 300 GAME: Php 10,000.00 shall be divided equally to all bowlers who achieve each perfect game.
