Get a stopwatch. Time your ball from the time it touches the lane after release to the time it hits the head pin. This will be in seconds. Then you divide 40.91 by this time you got in seconds. The answer will be your ball speed in miles per hour.
My personal time is 2.4 seconds average. This computes to around 17 miles per hour.
If you want a detailed explanation as to how the actual computation is done, just email me at my listed address.

40.91 pala ang given numeric value.
I´ll try this, but I´´ use my analog watch instead. |

Mga bro, I suggest you use a real stopwatch, digital if possible. You will have to estimate the tenths value of your time if you use an analog watch, unless it has a special tenths of a second dial. Needless to say, someone has to do the timing for you, unless you have an extra arm.
Sorry for the suggestion to email me on further questions, Bankard´s email facility is shot as usual. Just post your questions on the forum and I will try to answer if I can.
If you want the speed in kilometers per hour, multiply miles per hour by 1.609.
