Greetings!
To foster camaraderie and good sportsmanship and harmony amongst bowlers from different regions, we would like to organize a bowling tournament this March 20 – 29 at Playdium Bowling Center Araneta Avenue, Quezon City. This tournament is named as the 6Th SCTBA – PRIMA PASTA – EYE BOWL FOR A CAUSE OPEN MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS. Hence, the tournament shall be an instrument to help fund eye care for the youth such as obtaining prescribed glasses and among others.
We would like to invite you and your team to participate in this endeavor. We believe that this competition shall be a steppingstone to make a great ambiance and hopefully fully unite our bowlers to participate in the association tournaments. Attached herein is the format of our tournament.

A. TOURNAMENT ELIGIBILITY
The SCTBA – PRIMA PASTA - EYE BOWL FOR A CAUSE OPEN MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS is open to all bowling enthusiasts with good standing nationwide - Male or Female regardless of class or affiliation.
B. FORMAT
This Open Masters Championships has 3 divisions namely; Mixed Open Masters and Seniors Mens Masters and Seniors Ladies Masters. Qualifying consist of the best 2 blocks of 3 games: Multiple entries allowed.
B.1 MIXED OPEN MASTERS
This division is open to all male and female bowlers. Top 40 qualifiers (10 OPEN, 25 CLASSIFIED (graded and associate) and 5 LADIES) shall play a 10 – game series with handicap with lane movement after every game. Top 5 shall proceed to the stepladder shootout match. Members of the RP Pool respectively RP men will be given 0 and RP ladies will be given 8 regardless of average.
B.1.1 STEPLADDER SHOOTOUT MATCH
Top 5 bowlers after the 10-game series shall play the stepladder Shootout.
Match One:
3rd, 4th & 5th placed bowlers play for a one game shootout
Match Two:
Winner of Match One will play the 2nd placed bowler for one game.
Match Three:
Winner of Match Two will play the 1st placed bowler for one game. The 1st placer after the Master Finals, will have a twice to beat advantage.”
B.2 SENIORS MENS MASTERS
This division is open to all male bowlers with the age of 50 or more as of December 31, 2015. Top 40 bowlers shall play 8 games with lane movement after every 2 games. The lowest 24 in total pin falls after the 8 game series will be eliminated. The remaining 16 bowlers will play 2 more game (Scores to be added to their first 8 games) to vie for the Top 5 prizes.
B.3 SENIORS LADIES MASTERS
This division is open to all female bowlers with the age of 50 or more as of December 31, 2015. Top 12 bowlers shall play 8 games with lane movement after every 2 games. Top 3 bowlers shall be given prizes.
C. REGISTRATION
C.1 QUALIFYING ROUND
Registration Fee for Qualifying Round 2700.00Php per bowler (2 blocks of 3 games)
Re entry Fee for Qualifying Round 600.00Php (1 block of 3 games)
DOUBLE UP – Bowlers may choose to DOUBLE UP and ENTER 2 DIVISIONS but shall be charged an additional 300.00Php. Bowlers must declare double up before the start of the squad.
C.2 MASTERS FEE
MIXED OPEN MASTERS - 3200Php.
SENIOR MENS MASTERS - 3200Php.
SENIOR LADIES MASTERS - 1800Php.

D. HANDICAPPING
Entering average of the bowler shall be taken from the current PBC listing average, if there is no existing PBC average, the latest center list of average duly signed by the Club Association President shall be used; however, the tournament committee reserves the right to reclassify a bowler if it deems that the club or association average is erroneous. Bowlers without established average shall be classify as MIXED OPEN MASTERS and shall be given Zero (0) handicap for male and eight ( for female.

MAXIMUM SCORE WITH HANDICAP IS 300
E. TIE – BREAKERS
• In case of a tie in the last position of the qualifying round, tie breaker will be the least difference between the highest and the lowest game of their highest 2 sets qualifying.
• In case of a tie among the 2nd to 5th place bowlers after the finals in Seniors Mens Masters; 2nd and 3rd place bowlers for Seniors Ladies Masters, tie breaker will be the least difference between the highest and the lowest game of the series.
• In case of tie for the 1st place after the finals in all divisions, tie breaker will be a one –game roll –off to determine the 1st placer .
• In case of tie during the shootout /stepladder match , tie breaker will be the 9th and 10th frame roll-off.
F. PROTESTS
Protest must be done in writing addressed to the tournament committee not later than 24 hours after the game in which the infraction was committed or prior to awarding of prizes, whichever comes first, otherwise such protests shall not be entertained. The decision of the tournament committee is deemed final.
H. INTERPRETATION OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS
The tournament committee reserves the right to make the final interpretation in any of the rules and regulations mentioned above and to decide on any matters not covered by the aforementioned rules and regulations.

Sir Benny is it still possible to qualify after 6pm? I am going out of office at 6pm.
