BNB – PTBA DOUBLES CHALLENGE
Format: This tournament is open to all bowlers with a combined average of 370 or less. The tournament will run for 6 weeks and participants will get to play 4 games per week.
Entry Fee: The entry fee is P 500.00 and the tournament fee is P 2,500.00 (per bowler.
Handicap: PTBA players will get their handicaps based on their PTBA average. Maximum handicap is 58. Handicaps will vary from week to week and is computed as follows:
Men’s = 200 (Base Average) – Ave. x 75%
Ladies’ = 200 (Base Average) – Ave. x 90%
Advance/Makeup: Participants can join up to the 2nd week (their scores will be doubled to make up for the 1st week), advance bowling is allowed once during the regular rounds. A bowler will get a blind score if he/she is absent (Blind score is current league average minus 20 plus handicap). The organizer should be notified for the advance play.
Blind Score: Participants will get a blind score for missed games. The blind score is computed as follows:
Current Average – 20 + current Handicap
System:
The league will adapt a point system ruling wherein teams will face each other via lane assignments (example: Lane 1 vs. Lane 2, Lane 3 vs. Lane 4, etc.) & bowler vs bowler (example: bowler 1 of Lane 1 vs bowler 1 of Lane 2, etc.)
The organizer will draw the 1st Lane assignments and the regular lane change will follow for the 1st 3 weeks (odd number to the right and even number to the left). On the 4th – 6th week, the lane assignments will be based via NBA elimination style. For example considering there are 8 teams:
1st vs. 8th
2nd vs. 7th
3rd vs. 6th
4th vs. 5th
Bowlers will be awarded points per game as follows:
1st game – 5 points
2nd game – 10 points
3rd game – 15 points
4th game – 20 points
In case of a sweep, the team will be given an extra 10 points. No additional points will be given to perfect gamers.
Other Rules:
The organizer shall decide rules not covered above and a printout shall be posted the bulletin board. |

boss pee, if tama pagkaintindi ko sa above-quoted part of the rules, dapat yata kung na-sweep tsaka may 10 points. Grabe, kung baga, na-sweep ka na nga, may extra 10 pts pa ang kalaban! |

correct ka dyan boss... kung baga eh adding insult to injury. Since this is a points system game, if maganda laro both sides pwedeng halos patas lang laban so the 10 points is added incentive lang. Also, bale wala yung 10 points na yan... he eh he
